The project is slated to be Cole’s
third studio LP. 2014
Forest Hills Drive will
follow 2013′s Born
Sinner and 2011′s Cole World: The Sideline
Story. Both of those
previous albums reached number 1 on the Billboard album chart and sold over
600,000 copies. Cole also released a video to coincide with the album
announcement. The Roc Nation emcee returned to his hometown of Fayetteville for
the clip. The footage features Cole roller skating, speaking on his definition
of happiness, and reflecting on his younger days. J. Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive is available for pre-order on iTunes.
