TuT Tuesday [ Talent unlikely Televised ] 30

Week 30 of TuT Tuesdays (Talent unlikely Televised), bringing you TuT's new track "Letter To Myself," along with an amazing up and coming artist. Over the last 30 weeks, you have been introduced to some of the greatest artists you never heard of; all centered around our artist TuT. TuT is a Philadelphia artist currently in Los Angeles to work on his music. Although, you might find traces of Nas' educated toughness, Jay Z's effortless approach, and the Philadelphia style found in Young Chris; TuT very much has his own unique sound. TuT may be an underground artist, but he is no rookie. More focused than ever, TuT's work ethic is bar none. With over seven years of paying dues in this game, TuT has polished a craft that has only been mastered by the greats. This weeks is a female MC by the name of Keyz Kamiko. From London, England, Ms. Kamiko has been rapping since a snot nose. Once moving to New York she linked up with a producer by the name of Bobby Wealth, and started taking her craft more seriously. They released her first single and video "Never Fail." Since then Keyz has been taking the time to master her craft. Highly influenced by the greats, she is driven by the love of language and the art that can be created with words. Keyz Kamiko is currently working on her first mixtape,  "Science Behind The Art," but for now you can fond her on her website KeyzKamiko.comSoundCloud, and Twitter @KeyzKamiko.

P.S. Be sure do download TuT's new track "Letter To Myself," and remember you can catch TuT on SoundCloud, HulkShare, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, all @DoYaThinGKinG. Also, be sure to check out our latest TrueMusic Girl Next Door, all below!

Kendrick Lamar Reveals Mind State For Next Album

Two of the biggest songs of 2012 were PSY's "Gangnam Style" and Chief Keef's "Love Sosa." Hip-Hop had definitely seen better days, and then Kendrick Lamar dropped "good kid, m.A.A.d. city." The Hip-Hop-heads have known about K. Dot since 09, but in October of 2012, Kendrick helped spark the fire in the new golden age of hip-hop. It's been almost two years, and Kendrick Lamar has become a house hold name; jumping on features and turning the hip-hop world upside down with his "Control" verse. Now the date is vastly approaching for the release of his highly anticipated follow up album. Still untitled, Kendrick says he's "flirting with ideas." In a recent interview with Complex Magazine, Kendrick reveals the thought process for the upcoming LP. "If I keep focusing on, I need to make something better than good kid,' it's going to be just that. That's not challenging yourself. I don't want to become that person reflecting on what has been done. What I'm doing now is the question. I'm only as good as my last word, my last hook, my last bridge." In his usual prophetic manner, K Dot spoke on his need for creative progress as he seeks a higher state of consciousness. "I got a greater purpose. God put something in my ear to get across and that's what I'm going to focus on, using my voice as an instrument and doing what needs to be done...This is truly a blessing from a higher power, and as long as I understand that there's really no limitations to what I can do. Everything is forward with me. When I'm in the studio, I'm looking for creativity I haven't matched yet, a feeling I haven't felt. It's a high. When you look at people like Jay Z, Nas, Dr. Dre, these people are established, but they love music and that love that high. You always want that feeling of creativity." The album has been rumored to drop in September, but TDE CEO Top Dawg has promised a fourth quarter release no matter what. Kendrick has already recorded about 30-40 songs for the new LP,he had about 60-70 done when it came time to pic for "good kid, m.A.A.d. city." Whether or not the new record will be better than the last is yet to be determined, but knowing Kendrick, either way its sure to be a masterpiece.

P.S. We have a new music video from Asher Roth and a Tim Westwood freestyle from Joey Bada$$, and new single from Future, Big K.R.I.T.,  NehruvianDOOM, and Murda Mook.

Kanye West Discusses New Album, Jay Z, & Drake

Kanye West will be gracing the upcoming cover of GQ. Ye' spoke with Gentlemen Quarterly about the direction of his follow up LP to Yeezus. "The balance of a meal is that when people walk in, they want water first. People definitely weren't getting water first on Yeezus. I do fight with myself to say,'Keep fighting.' But also, you know, you can't win every single fight. It's a long war, and if you're out there trying to, like, blow up ever single building, you won't win the war." The Watch The Throne rapper even went as far to say he no longer holds the crown. "Currently that spot is taken. Let's be honest, he (Drake) got last summer. Yeah. He got last summer, and I'd never given it up till last summer." Now Kanye is thinking about taking it back. "It's a real question for me. Do I want to?" As for all the rumors about Ye' being upset with Jay Z for not showing up to his wedding, the brutally honest Mr. West stated that is not the case. He even praises his long time mentor for his long lasting ability to stay relevant. "That's what I like about Jay. He has longevity. He's still at the top of relevancy from the way he moves, the way he interacts with people, his ability to brush things off of his shoulder and just win at life. He's the poster child if winning. But, you always saw the fight, and with Jay, you always saw the win." Kanye originally thought the album was to drop in September, but he has not decided on an exact month for its release yet. He does plan to unleash the first single in the next few weeks. So, hopefully we get the album before the end of the year.
