Cassidy Is Ready To Dust Off The Gloves

Most thought we'd never see Cassidy step back into the battle rap arena. Well, we were wrong. This will be Cassidy's first battle since The Problem vs Tha Hutsla. And, even thought his opponent Dizaster is a seasoned battler rapper, this battle might just be a little easier for Cassidy. Those in the battle rap world will obviously be choosing Dizaster to win, but most in the battle rap world are barely old enough to drink. They don't remember that Cassidy come up in the battle rap scene, and his ability to keep his composure rivals the best of them. Not to mention, every time Cass drops a track it is one of the most lyrical verses you ever heard. Cassidy explained to Vlad TV, that the only reason he took this battle is because the money was right. Fresh Coast/FilmOn event organizers offered Cass 250,000, with 200,000 upfront. That is 150,000 more than what Total Slaughter offered Cassidy to dust off the gloves and step back in the ring. Cass says, "At the end of the day, the reason why I accepted this is because the chicken was right. They gave me crazy chicken. More money than anybody ever made off battling, what I feel like I deserve. So when you come to me with the right amount of chicken, alright. I can dedicate enough time to write for this because you gave me some chicken. I ain't got no picks. whoever y'all wanna pick. I don't give a f**k. I'm not trying to find the easy win or the hard win, whoever. Whoever y'all got in mind that y'all wanna bring up, It's gonna be the same result. That's the mentality I had." Now this won't exactly be an easy win for Cassidy. We all know of Dizaster's epic battles with T-Rex, Canibus and DNA, so we can expect Diz to make Cass earn his "W." Either way, this will be great for battle rap, great for the culture, and the brothers are getting paid. So, no matter what tune in, we might have another classic on our hands.
