That's right, the greatest dynamic duo in hip-hop history is making a come back. But get this, they're dropping their solo albums first, which is definitely a great plan. While Big Bio has already released two solo albums since there last collaborative album Idlewild, Andre Three Stacks has yet to release a album with out Big Boi. We all know Big Bio is solidified as a legendary MC but Dre' is on a lot of peoples top five MCs list and almost everyone's top ten list. You add that to the fact that Mr. 3000 is very stingy with his rhymes and now the fans are foaming at the mouth for any project with Andre's name on it. The two MCs are gearing up for the 40 Date Festival Tour, celebrating their twenty year anniversary. And, the duo have just been given the headline slot at Coachella, the two week free concert event. Last year their former manager, Queen Latifah, said that Outkast was working on their next album. Now, long time Outkast collaborator, Mr. DJ says that the two artists are currently working on their solo project, but talking with Revolt TV the Grammy awarding winning producer does hint at a studio session following the end of the tour. "I get the feeling that the energy and camaraderie from the tour will bring everything full circle" said Mr. DJ, "We may make it back for an album following that." Mr. DJ goes on to tell Revolt that Big Boi and Andre both have recorded a considerable amount of material for their solo albums at Stankonia Studio in Atlanta. However, he does not give us any detail as to when their albums will be released. Let us all pray we get some project from the dynamic duo before the end of the year.
