Kanye West Sequel To Yeezus Will Not Sound The Same

Well  we know Kanye West is back in the studio, and that is always a good thing. Ye' has been on his Yeezus tour all winter, but just yesterday on the RocNation website, they released the following statement: "Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia. The tour dates originally scheduled from may 2 to may 11, 2014 will now be played from September 5 to September 15, 2014." This means we will have some new Kanye West by the end of the second quarter, seeing how he will be back on tour in September. The follow to Yeezus should be another classic. Although, Yeezy's DJ says that it will sound nothing like Yeezus. He took to twitter to tell producers to stop sending beats that sound like Yeezus. Back in December Mr. West said that Yeezus was originally suppose to be a sixteen track LP, but Rick Rubin convinced him to reduce it to ten. Ye' then told us that he would be be releasing five songs that didn't make the album (which never happened), and that the sequel to Yeezus would only be eight tracks. Considering the fact that Kanye's life has changed drastically since his last album (Baby North), and he told Zane Lowe that he would be getting back to his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy blueprint; it is no surprise that the new album will have a different sound. The was a very loud minority that did not like the Yeezus album, but in all actuality Yeezus comes in at a strong third in his discography, just under Graduation and College Drop Out. The fact is Yeezus is a timeless album of ten perfect songs. The production is ground breaking and the lyrics are a perfect mix of inner self greatness and political awareness; its only downfall is that it could have been longer. Many criticized 808's & Heartbreaks but if you were to play it next time you were in your car you would not only sing along, you would play out the entire album (go ahead just try it). Either way you look at it the is new Kanye West on its way, and that has all hip-hop heads on the edge of their seats. Just think, while you are reading this, chances are Ye' is in the studio right now!
