For those of you who saw the battle, you clearly saw Joe Budden win the battle over Hollow Da Don. Now we at TrueMusic are split 50/50 in terms of Joe Budden fans, but there was no bias. We all had Joe winning thee exact same rounds two to one, over Hollow Da Don. The war of words started off strong by both parties, and simmered down as the battle proceeded. Joe Budden clearly won the first round, without a doubt. If you are a Hollow fan you could make a strong case the he won the second round, but any unbiased party with half a brain should have been able to dissect the words and award that round to Joey as well. As for the third round, we had to give it to Hollow. This was not because of Hollow's performance, which was lack luster at best, but because Joe Budden put the mic down. Both parties received boos towards the end of the battle, but Joe refused to continue if the crowd kept booing. Although, from what we heard of Joe's last round didn't sound like a grand finally, anything would have been better than Hollow's last round. The problem with these battle raps is, if you do not win the last round, you do not win the battle. While the last round of a battle is the most important, in a forum like Total Slaughter there should be more emphasis on the battle as a whole. Either way, Poison Pen, Kid Kapri, and Drect should all be ashamed of themselves. Just watch for yourself.
