Lil Wayne Reveals “Tha Carter V” Album Cover And Release Date

So much for Lil Wayne giving us two albums in 2014. Once we entered the third quarter, we kinda knew that was a pipe dream. However, Weezy F. has finally set a release date for the release of Tha Carter V. Wayne exposed the artwork and release date on ESPN yesterday. Back in April, Kobe Bryant sent out from his personal Twitter account of a photo of "Tha Carter V," which many construed as the official album cover. Wayne later denied that but did mention that The Black Mamba was the one who came up with the "Carter V Season," which is the official name of the campaign. Carter V Season officially begins October 28th. In his interview with ESPN yesterday, "The Best Rapper Alive" spoke on the album cover. "It's perfect, because I always go with a baby picture, and I want wanted to go with one with my momma." Wayne even spoke on his protege Drake's recent mishap, in which the OVO leader publicly recruited Keven Durant to Toronto, leading to a 25,000 dollar fine. "He has to know that he's the team's ambassador. He has to be more careful." Lil Wayne has already three single and one music video for the emending album. From what he's delivered so far, the record has potential to be another Carter classic. Check out the artwork below.

P.S. We have a new music video from Chris Brown and new singles from Raekwon, Kevin Gates, and Rah Digga. Also, dont forget to check out our latest TrueMusic Girl Next Door, all below!
