Well as you all may know, Remy Ma was released from prison the other day, after serving an eight year prison sentence. Remy's Boosie-like return has everyone anticipating her new music. Wasting no time, the Brooklyn-born MC was photo'd in the studio with DJ Khaled. Rem and Khaled have been rocking with each other for years (since their Terror Squad days), so it's no surprise to see them together as she launches her comeback. A lot has changed since Remy left the game. While her once arch nemesis Foxy Brown has fallen all the way off, former friend turned for Nicki Minaj has skyrocketed to a level of stardom that can only be compared to Madonna. Although, Remy Ma had been fairly quiet the last couple of years leading up to her incarceration, she was still the reigning champ in the female rap category; Nicki on the other hand, had yet to even release her breakout mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty. Now, it is highly unrealistic that anyone, male or female, is knocking Nicki off her throne, but she could cause some trouble for another contender aiming at the crown (Iggy). Beef or not, Remy Martin is one of the ill-est female MCs of all time. Anyone who doubts that need only to watch her legendary battle against Lady Luck, or listen to her latest which we of course have for you today.
