Although, his albums and features are sporadic in nature, for the last twenty-five years Ice Cube has been blessing hip hop with classics. From the ride around music of "It Was A Good Day" to the all time favorite club banger "You Can Do It", Ice has a lyrical versatility that has an authentic cross over to mainstream Amerikkka. Not to mention, he has stared in and directed films that have made some of the most impact on today's urban culture. We all know how active Ice has been in Hollywood, but he has finally decided to dust off the mic and bless us with an album. The legendary MC took to twitter to let his fans know that the well overdue LP titled Corrupt Everything, is set to be released on the 13th of May. Cube said back in 2012 that this album will be a much more political based LP. “This record is for the political heads,” Ice Cube said. "This to me is more a leak at the right time, in time, to drop it. We could have dropped a more catchier tune, but the time wouldn’t have been right. The time is right for 'Everythang’s Corrupt,' so that’s what we wanted to do. We wanted to drop it at this point and time, and then come with a visual to highlight what we’re saying in the music." Hopefully this album wont get push back any further. Once released to the public it will be a great addition to the thriving world of hip hop.
